Cloud and Containers, Live Images
AlmaLinux also offers a variety of Cloud, Container and Live Images. The builds for these get kicked off as soon as the public repository is ready. The following images are expected to be available shortly. We will post a separate “Images Update” announcement soon, to keep the community informed.
- Live Media for GNOME, GNOME-mini, KDE, XFCE and more.

- AWS AMIs for x86_64 and Graviton Instances
- Azure Images in standard and HPC flavors for x86_64 and aarch64

- Generic Cloud/Cloud-init for all 4 architectures

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for x86_64 and aarch64
- Docker images including Platform and UBIs alternatives. We provide a wide variety of containers for your use. Please see our Docker Official Image as well as all AlmaLinux images

- Windows Subsystem for Linux
Release Notes and More Information
AlmaLinux 8.7 Stable provides a more stable foundation for open hybrid cloud innovation, new enhancements and features to deliver workloads (sysin), applications and services for multiple environments more efficiently, security features and updates for risk reduction and better compliance maintenance.
New automation and management functionality is provided to make additional manual task automation, performing standard deployment processes at scale easier and to simplify day-to-day system management.
These enhancements include adding several system roles and the web console new options and features. As for containers, Sigstore technology was built into the container tooling.

AlmaLinux 8.7 上游来自于 Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.7 Release。
笔者点评：天下武功，唯快不破，AlmaLinux 仍然是最快的 RHEL 下游发行版。另外 AlmaLinux 继续提供 Minimal iso，推荐下载该镜像。RHEL 8 暂无 Minimal iso 可用。
